About the Gang Show
Thanet Gang Show is a large-scale variety show performed by members of the Scout and Guide movement from across the Thanet District.
It brings together young people and volunteers to create an exciting, fast-paced theatre production featuring original sketches, music, dance and live performance.
Every Gang Show is built from scratch — written, rehearsed and performed by the cast — creating a unique show that celebrates creativity, confidence and teamwork.
Who can be involved?
The Gang Show is open to members of Scouting and Girlguiding across Thanet, including Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and adult volunteers.
You don’t need previous stage experience — just enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to have a go. Whether you love performing, dancing, singing, playing music or helping backstage, there’s a place for everyone.
Many cast members say the Gang Show is one of the most memorable experiences of their time in Scouting or Guiding.
